The Greenhouse is located at 624 VINE STREET, LA CROSSE, WI

The Hoop House is located in the Washburn Neighborhood Garden on DIVISION STREET between 9th & 10th

Come and Grow in our Greenhouse!

Tuesday-Friday 12-5
Salad Saturdays 10-2
Closed Sunday and Monday.
Closed: Saturday, April 28th
**Volunteer on Saturday and lunch is on us: gutter garden and microgreen salad!**

Our Mission

Hillview Urban Agriculture Center (Hillview) holds the mission of creating a healthy community through a local, sustainable, and accessible food system by:

Building soil with food waste
Educating and inspiring people of all ages and abilities to grow food
Preparing and preserving healthy food together
Supporting a food system that serves all our community needs

Hillview’s mission in the Greenhouse:

Provide educational and inspirational program space for people of all ages and abilities to participate.
Grow organic and heirloom variety food seedlings to be sold/donated for community gardens, school gardens, and the public.
Grow produce to fruition for participants in our programs and for Mayo Clinic Health System’s cafeteria and other buyers.

get growing Get Growing is the partnership between Western Technical College, Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare, and Hillview Urban Agriculture Center. The mission is to engage collective resources and expertise to create a healthy and resilient 7 Rivers Region through personal empowerment and good food. The partnership is housed on Western's campus in the Horticulture Education Center where Hillview Urban Agriculture Center operates a community greenhouse.
